Tarragona Corpus Christi

Festival Date: 04-06-2015

The air is thick with the scent of freshly baked flat breads and cherries, while dancing eggs bounce on the sparkling jets of water emanating from the fountains. It has to be Corpus Christi!

A massive parade takes place in the city, which is known for both its traditional and religious elements. These include towering giants, much dancing and the Magi de les Timbales, who is a drummer who announces the start of the festival on horseback.
