On September 8th, there’s a combination of religious and festive activities that can be traced back many centuries. In the case of Cambrils, scholars suggest that the origin of the feast of Our Lady of the Way can be traced to the middle of the twelfth century.
The events happen around the sanctuary such as: the opening, the Vermouth for the people, the solemn, the wreath, the Sardana dancing and the concentration of the popular procession, with all the festive elements of the city. Watch out for the Stick Dance and the Devil’s Ball.
