Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Carnival

Alcala de Xivert-Alcossebre Carnival-Carnaval
February/March – It falls before Lent
The tradition for carnival time in Alcalà de Xivert-Alcossebre is that one weekend it is in Alcalà de Xivert and then the following weekend in Alcossebre. There are parades, masked balls and the burial of the sardine.

ola, please what are the dates for the Alcossebre February 2016 Carnival?
Kind Regards
Phil Ogley
Hola Phil 🙂
As yet they are not live, however as Easter is a bit earlier this year, and Lent starts on the 10th February whereas this year it was 18th, then we can assume everything should be around 1 week earlier in 2016. I’ll see if the tourist authority knows yet, and let you know if they do 🙂
Hasta luego
Jackie
Hi Phil
They have told me, that if it doesn’t change it will be the 12th to 14th February.
Thanks
Jackie
